Zambia Cholera Outbreak Situation Update - 18 February 2018
As at 06:00hrs AM today 18th February 2018, Lusaka District recorded 18 new cases of Cholera in the last 24 hours ( 3paediatrics and 15adults). Of these 8 reported directly to Heroes cholera Hospital, 2 to Kanyama, 5 Chawama, 1 at Chelstone, 2 to Chipata, Matero and Bauleni CTUs did not record any new cases. There were no Cholera deaths recorded. The cumulative national total is 4,187 with 85 deaths. A total of 36 patients are currently under treatment. The Cumulative total for Lusaka is now 3,893 and 75 deaths.
